What’s going on between China and the Taliban?

Before much of the world realized what was playing out in Afghanistan, the government of China was already making overtures to the Taliban. Back in the ‘90s, China saw this group as a threat — but not anymore. Just last month, the Chinese foreign minister hosted a delegation of Taliban leaders. The World’s China correspondent, Rebecca Kanthor, talks with host Carol Hills to explain why.
