Vinicius Junior: Spanish soccer ‘now belongs to racists’

Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior has endured racist abuse on the soccer pitch for years. This weekend, during a match in Valencia, Spain, he reached a breaking point. Now, Real Madrid has asked Spanish authorities to investigate the abusive behavior, calling it a hate crime. Piara Powar, the head of FARE, an anti-discrimination network for global soccer, speaks with The World’s Marco Werman about who should be held accountable for the abuse.
