Video confessions tie Myanmar military to Rohingya slaughter

Two soldiers from Myanmar’s military have admitted to killing and raping dozens of Rohingya Muslim civilians in 2017 under military orders. Matthew Smith, of the Thailand-based human rights group Fortify Rights, has analyzed the video confessions and compared them to documented events. Smith tells The World’s Marco Werman the admissions could be “monumental” for the Rohingya people.
