Using IVF to save the northern white rhino

There are only two northern white rhinos left on the planet. Scientists are hoping they can save them from extinction using IVF. They just successfully achieved the world’s first IVF rhino pregnancy with southern white rhinos, a closely related subspecies. The next step is to repeat this with northern white embryos. Host Carolyn Beeler talks abut the significance of this with Jan Stejskal, director of international projects at Safari Park Dvůr Králové in the Czech Republic, where the two remaining northern white rhinos were born.
