Germany has criticized reports that the Trump administration is planning to withdraw one-third of US forces from Germany. Peter Beyer, the German official in charge of trans-Atlantic ties, said such a move would “shake the pillars” of the US-German relationship.  Host Marco Werman speaks with Constanze Stelzenmüller, senior fellow at the Center on the United States and Europe at the Brookings Institution.
