The Biden administration has imposed significant sanctions against Russia. The sanctions tackle what the White House calls “Harmful Foreign Activities by the Russian Government.” According to the Biden administration, those activities include: undermining US elections, government-sponsored cyberattacks, undermining Ukrainian sovereignty and other malign activity.
