US exercises ‘modest steps’ to rein in Israel

President Biden signed an executive order Wednesday protecting most Palestinian immigrants in the US from deportation. It comes on the heels of unprecedented US sanctions against Israeli settlers. Despite these moves, Brian Katulis, a senior fellow at the Middle East Institute, tells The World’s host Marco Werman that it’s a “myth” that the US has more leverage over Israel than it actually does.
