China has the world’s largest fishing fleet, much of it is owned by the government in Beijing. They’ve been accused by many countries of illegal fishing and depleting stocks. The US Coast Guard has recently started to board Chinese fishing vessels in remote Pacific waters — thousands of miles from the U-S mainland — looking for evidence of illegal fishing. This is part of a US Coast Guard operation to confront China on the high seas. The World’s Patrick Winn reports.
