US and Russia extend key nuclear arms reduction treaty 

On Wednesday, the US and Russia extended a key arms reduction agreement called the New START Treaty. The treaty originally came into effect about 10 years ago and was set to expire on Feb. 5. Host Marco Werman talks with Lynn Rusten, who worked on the treaty during the Obama administration. She’s now the vice president for global nuclear policy at NTI, the Nuclear Threat Initiative.
