US and Russia at negotiating table in Geneva

In Geneva today, the US and Russia are back at the negotiating table, and the stakes are as high as ever: The US would like to avert perhaps the biggest geopolitical crises with Russia since the Cold War. In recent months, Russia has been positioning tens of thousands of its troops near its border with Ukraine. The US has accused Russia of preparing further incursions into Ukraine, while Russia says that it is seeking guarantees from the US that Ukraine will not join NATO. Host Carol Hills speaks with Will Pomeranz, who is with the Wilson Center where he’s the acting director of the Kennan Institute.
