US Air Force report on Kabul airport deaths

It’s been almost a year since the US Military fully disengaged from Afghanistan. In mid-August of last year, some Afghans clung to a C-17 military plane as it was taking off and fell to their deaths. Multiple investigations were launched into this incident. In a statement yesterday, Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek said the investigations found that the crew quote: “exercised sound judgment in their decision to get airborne …” Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Rachel VanLandingham, a law professor at the Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, a retired lieutenant colonel and a former judge advocate in the US Air Force.
