Unprecedented meeting at the Vatican on child sex abuse

The World

Catholic bishops from around the world are meeting this week at the Vatican to talk about the child sex abuse crisis. In a separate meeting on Wednesday, survivors will meet with organizers of Pope Francis’ summit on preventing clergy sex abuse. Host Carol Hills speaks with Phil Saviano and Anne Doyle. Saviano is a renowned survivor and activist who worked with the Boston Globe to expose cover-up by Cardinal Bernard Law. Doyle is the co-director of the research group, Bishop Accountability, which tracks clergy abuse cases worldwide.
