UN experts visit US to hear about racial justice and equality

In 2021, the United Nations Human Rights Council established the International Independent Expert Mechanism to Advance Racial Justice and Equality in the context of Law Enforcement. Experts on the panel (from South Africa, Argentina, and the US) travel to different countries to hear about the lived experiences of people of African descent. They visited Sweden last year. Now, The World’s Bianca Hillier reports on their most recent trip which brought the international experts to the United States.
