Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is in Washington, where he’s scheduled to meet President Biden at the White House today. For Zelenskiy, this meeting has been at least two years in the making — his plans to meet with then-President Trump were derailed by the impeachment scandal. Now, with Biden in office, officials in both the US and Ukraine are looking to reset relations between the two countries.
