The United Nation’s World Heritage Committee on Wednesday voted to inscribe the historic center of Odesa onto its World Heritage List. Known for its historic architectural and cultural treasures, Odesa has also been targeted by Russian missiles, as host Marco Werman explains, the UN decision is not without controversy.
