Ukraine celebrate its culture and heritage on Vyshyvanka Day

Across Ukraine on Thursday, people are celebrating Vyshyvanka Day. The Vyshyvanka is one of the best-known symbols of Ukrainian culture. It’s an elaborately embroidered shirt or dress traditionally worn in Ukraine and in some neighboring countries. Host Marco Werman speaks with reporter Lydia Tomkiw who, as a Ukrainian American, celebrates Vyshyvanka Day.
