UK introduces plan to boost restaurant economy

The World

UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced Wednesday a plan called “Eat Out to Help Out.” During August, people who dine-in at restaurants will receive 50% off their meal, excluding alcohol. The restaurants can opt in or opt out of the plan and will be able to receive the money back in full via a government process. The World’s Bianca Hillier reports on reactions to the plan.
