UK eases blood donation restrictions

Previously, in the United Kingdom, a person assigned male at birth who had sex with another person assigned male at birth had to abstain from sex for three months before giving blood. Now, those restrictions are being loosened, and the focus will be on an individual’s behavior — not their identity.
