UK ambassador to US resigns

The World

The British ambassador in Washington, Kim Darroch, resigned this morning. In a letter to his boss in London, Darroch said he could no longer perform his duties after he was slammed by Donald Trump. Darroch was the author of a confidential memo that was critical of Trump and his administration, which was leaked to a London tabloid. How much of this is beyond the norm? Host Marco Werman speaks with retired US Ambassador Nicholas Burns, professor of the practice of diplomacy at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
