Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the start of a military operation Wednesday in northern Syria. The targets of the Turkish attack were US allies until President Donald Trump announced a troop pullout earlier this week. They were the people who actually fought ISIS, but Turkey insists its goals are legitimate. Host Marco Werman speaks with Turkish analyst Mustafa Akyol, a senior fellow with the Cato Institute in Washington, DC.
