Turkey’s national women’s volleyball team — the Sultanas — are the top ranked team in the world. Fresh off a win at the European championships, they’ve become a political flashpoint between feminists, secularists and religious conservatives. In the process, they’ve inspired a generation of young women to play the game too. The World’s Durrie Bouscaren reports.
