Turkey says no to Sweden and Finland joining NATO

This week Sweden’s governing party approved a plan to join NATO. Neighboring Finland’s parliament also passed a motion to join the military alliance. But NATO member Turkey is saying no. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Soner Cagaptay, a senior fellow with the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, about the factors behind Turkey’s decision and what it means for NATO.
