In Xinjiang, far western China, 1 million Muslims are in detention camps. They’re mostly Uighurs, an ethnic minority group with cultural ties to Turkey. For the first time in years, Turkey is speaking up for Uighurs in China. Some hope it’s a tipping a point. The World’s Matthew Bell reports.
