Turbulent times for Hungary’s Viktor Orbán

The World

Hungary’s long-serving prime minister is under fire. In the past week, the country’s president and a former justice minister — both close allies of Orban’s — were forced to resign. The scandal revolves around the granting of a presidential pardon to a man charged with covering up sexual abuse in a state-run children’s home. Opposition politicians say the two resignations are not enough. A protest rally is planned for the center of Budapest Friday night as The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports.
