Yesterday, police raided a museum in Hong Kong devoted to preserving the memory of the 1989 massacre of protesters in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. Professor Sharon Yam, a diasporic Hong Konger who teaches at the University of Kentucky, tells host Marco Werman about the June 4 museum, and how the police raid fits into an expanding pattern of repression in Hong Kong.
