Demonstrations calling for basic women’s rights and freedom in general have sprung up in Iran since the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman in custody of the “morality police.” In the Iranian diaspora community of Los Angeles, the heavy metal group TarantisT, have added their artistic voices to the protests.
