The word of the year is ‘rizz’

Every year, the prestigious Oxford English Dictionary presents the “word of the year. If you are of a certain age, you may not have heard this year’s winner, “rizz.” It’s slang for having “style, charm or attractiveness.” Hey, we didn’t choose it. The World’s Marco Werman talks with Fiona McPherson, a senior editor at the Oxford English Dictionary, about how this new tradition for the dictionary works and the field of lexicography.
