‘The Plague’ by Albert Camus: A novel for our times

French writer Albert Camus wrote “La Peste” in 1947. Now, 73 years later and in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Camus’ novel about a disease outbreak in the French Algerian city of Oran is flying off the shelfs.
