A long-awaited trial for dozens of pro-democracy activists began this week in Hong Kong. It’s the most high-profile court proceeding since Beijing imposed a sweeping piece of legislation in the Chinese territory, called the National Security Law. Kelly Ho, a reporter with the Hong Kong Free Press, was in the courtroom today. She talks with The World’s host Marco Werman about what’s at stake.
