The Guantanamo Bay prison is still open, but its population is still shrinking

The US military’s Guantanamo Bay prison facility continues to see the removal and resettlement of its detainee population. At its height, the prison complex held roughly 740 detainees. But now that number is down to only 31 people. The World’s host Marco Werman speaks with Carol Rosenberg, who covers Guantanamo Bay for the New York Times, about how the US facilitates detainee resettlement and what the future looks like for the prison and its remaining prisoners.
