Dutch mink farms have been ordered to close after a discovery that the animals were contracting the coronavirus and passing it to farm employees. Hundreds of thousands of animals have been euthanized and more than 100 farms will be forced to close. Esther Ouwehand is a member of parliament in the Netherlands and the leader of the country’s animal rights political party, the Party for the Animals. She speaks to The World’s Marco Werman about the new ban.
