The Dominican Republic’s deportation of Haitians

The World

There is concern by human rights groups and the US Embassy in the Dominican Republic that Dominican authorities are unfairly targeting Haitians for deportation. Host Marco Werman speaks to Ambassador Daniel Foote, who served as a special envoy to Haiti, about the tensions between the two countries, and the parallels between the Dominican Republic and the United States when it comes to Haitian migrants.
