Sacha Baron Cohen’s iconic character Borat, the fictitious Kazakh journalist, has been at the center of many controversial moments. When the first “Borat” film came out in 2006, many in Kazakhstan hated it, and saw it as an embarrassment. Now, Kazakhstan has embraced Borat’s catchphrase, “Very nice,” and turned it into the country’s tourism slogan.
