Tensions rise over Western Sahara

Morocco and Algeria have been uneasy neighbors as both countries lay claim to a vast desert region in northwest Africa. A ceasefire has been in place for decades but recently, Morocco has been making power plays and in August, Algeria cut diplomatic ties. Nicolas Pelham, Middle East correspondent for The Economist, explains the growing rift.
