Sudanese warlord carved path to power despite involvement in war crimes

Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, better known as Hemedti, is one of two generals locked in a death match for control of Sudan. He’s been accused of committing crimes against humanity when he helped to crush the revolt in Darfur. The World’s Chris Harland-Dunaway reports on Hemedti’s path to power, and how, despite his atrocities in Darfur, he has gotten away with it.
