Sudan political update

The World

Sudan has a new prime minister. He’s the same as the old prime minister. Abdalla Hamdok was deposed in a military coup a little over a month ago and he was reinstated last week by Sudan’s military leader, Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. Anti-coup protests have continued across Sudan, with more than 40 demonstrators killed by security forces. The World’s Halima Gikandi is in the capital Khartoum and has the latest.
