King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia has undergone an operation to remove his gallbladder, according to state media. The king, who is 84, has designated his son, Mohammed bin Salman, to become the next king. But as The World’s Shirin Jaafari reports, succession could prove to be more complicated.
