Study says baby talk consistent across languages

A new study from Harvard University says human baby talk — human adult to infant — is similar across 21 languages and six continents. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Samuel Mehr, a senior scientist with the Haskins Laboratories at Yale University, and one of the authors of the study, about what this means for human speech and how it evolved.
