The general strike in France appears to be winding down. It went on for six weeks — the longest strike in French history — and disrupted daily life with transportation systems halted. But not everyone is calling it quits. Workers at a power plant outside of Paris turned off the electricity. Thousands of people lost power. It also affected Paris’ Orly Airport and the commune of Rungis, home to the world’s largest food market. Host Marco Werman speaks with reporter Anita Elash in Paris.
