Start-up wants to turn locust swarms into animal food in Kenya

This past year, East Africa has seen the worst locust outbreaks in decades. A company called The Bug Picture is paying Kenyan farmers to collect locusts in their fields, which they grind up into protein-rich food for livestock. The World’s Anna Kusmer reports on the idea of locust swarms as a seasonal crop.
