Most migrants and asylum-seekers are being turned away at the US-Mexico border. But some, including many families and children traveling alone, are being allowed in every day. Often, migrants are released with little more than the clothes on their back. Volunteers are stepping up to help them during their first hours in the US. The World’s Marco Werman talks to Sister Norma Pimentel, executive director of the Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, about the conditions there.
