South Africa rolls out the welcome mat for Putin

In the last year or so, Russian President Vladimir Putin has faced international condemnation and even an arrest warrant for war crimes in Ukraine. But this week, South Africa’s foreign minister granted diplomatic immunity to all foreign officials planning to attend a summit in the country this August. South African MP Glynnis Breytenbach is among those going to court to try to block the immunity offer, as she explains to The World’s Marco Werman.
