‘Someone who touched my heart in a way I can’t forget’

When Abuja resident Jessy Maseli sent her son, Oreva, abroad to study, she was consumed with worry. The Nigerian teen knew no one in England. After dropping him off in Reading, England, Maseli found herself near tears in a church pew. A stranger approached, telling her “I’m going to take care of your son.” Turned out that stranger would be true to her word.
