Some countries are already vaccinating young kids against COVID-19

Vaccinating children against COVID-19 is at the top of many families’ minds these days, with kids heading back to school. This week, Pfizer announced that it has promising data on its vaccine in kids ages 5 to 11. It hopes to seek FDA emergency authorization in the coming weeks. But as The World’s Elana Gordon reports, a handful of countries around the world have already started vaccinating kiddos, from Chile to the United Arab Emirates.
