Singapore’s execution spree 

Singapore’s modern Changi airport, with its stunning orchid displays, is a great place to stock up on duty free alcohol and cigarettes. So, you might be surprised to learn that not far from the airport, the Changi prison is executing prisoners for drug possession. Activists say Singapore is on an “execution spree,” hanging 10 inmates so far this year. As The World’s Patrick Winn reports, Singaporeans are in favor of the death penalty but support is wavering for capital punishment for low-level crimes.
