Senegal’s reputation as a stable country is being tested

Senegal has been known as a beacon of political stability in West Africa for several decades. But now, the outgoing president is delaying presidential elections for 10 months and that has spurred deadly protests across the country, and is also challenging one of the things Senegal is known for: peaceful transitions of power. Marco Werman speaks with Kelly Duke-Bryant a history professor and Senegal specialist at Rowan University in New Jersey.
