Sen. Fatima Payman’s journey to become Australia’s first hijabi in Parliament

Sen. Fatima Payman was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and moved to western Australia when she was 8 years old. This year, at just 27 years old, she became the country’s first hijabi in Parliament and says her life’s journey “feels like it’s from a movie.” The World’s Bianca Hillier has her story.
