This summer, on a specific route in Montreal, you can take a driverless shuttle bus from Point A to Point B. It’s a pilot project, but it could mean that there’s a specific niche for driverless shuttle buses: providing mass transit for the first and last mile. Marco Werman speaks with Sharad Agarwal, senior vice president of EasyMile North America, the company that built the self-driving buses now being tested in Montreal.
