Secular candidates win big in Lebanon’s university elections

Secularist candidates in Lebanon’s university elections scored an overwhelming victory recently. The results are a significant departure from previous results where Lebanon’s sectarian parties have typically won outright. Now secular politicians hope to make political and economic change both at the university and national levels.
