The State Department says he will meet with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and “reaffirm unwavering US support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression.” Last month Russia amassed tens of thousands of troops close to Ukraine’s border.
